What file types are supported?
All common digital file types: PDFs, ZIPs, RARs, MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A, MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, PNG, JPG, SVG, WEBP, PSD, AI, FIGMA, DOCX, XLSX, EPUB, STL, JSON, CSV, and more. If your customers can download it, Bulk Digital Downloads can deliver it.
Is there a file size limit?
On the Free plan, each individual file can be up to 5 GB. On all paid plans (Pro, Max, Business), there is no per-file size limit — files over 5 GB are automatically routed through Cloudflare R2 multipart upload for reliable delivery.
How does AI matching work?
AI Smart Scan reads your uploaded files and your Shopify product catalog. It analyzes filenames, embedded text, archive contents, image dimensions, and audio/video metadata to suggest the best matching Shopify product for each file. You review and confirm all suggestions before anything is connected — the AI proposes, you decide.
What happens when I hit my storage limit?
Uploads pause and you see a clear in-app prompt. You can free up space by deleting files you no longer need, or upgrade to a larger plan. You are never charged for going over — Bulk Digital Downloads uses hard storage caps with no overage billing.
How are downloads delivered to customers?
Two ways, automatically: (1) a branded email is sent with secure download links, and (2) download buttons appear on the Shopify order confirmation page through a native Shopify checkout UI extension. For orders with multiple files, customers can also download everything as a single ZIP.
Can I revoke or resend a customer's download?
Yes — from the Orders screen, per order. You can resend the download email, revoke access to specific links, or restore access if you revoked it by mistake. You can also set a maximum number of downloads per customer and a link expiry time (in hours) from Settings.
Is the free plan really free?
Yes — $0 forever, no credit card required. The Free plan includes 1 GB storage, up to 50 orders per month, automatic email delivery, branded emails, secure expiring links, the thank-you page download block, and all file types. Paid plans start at $19/month and include a 7-day free trial.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — you can change or cancel your plan at any time from the Plans page inside the app. Billing is handled entirely by Shopify, so there are no separate payment details to manage.
